TIPS ON TRANSITIONING

TRANSITIONING FROM RELAXED HAIR TO NATURAL  HAIR CAN BE DIFFICULT BUT ALSO FUN!
MY LAST CHEMICAL RELAXER WAS IN SEPTEMEBER 2009

MY  LAST RELAXER

FROM SEPTEMBER TO DECEMBER 2009, I WOULD JUST SHAMPOOED AND CONDITIONED AND WOULD JUST WEAR MY HAIR IN A DOOBIE WRAP STYLE. IN JANUARY 2010 I DECIDED TO WEAR MICRO BRAIDS FOR A PROTECTIVE STYLE, AND IN MAY 2010 I FINALLY BIG CHOPPED MY HAIR!!

HAIR IN MICRO BRAIDS

I AM HAPPY TO SHARE MY TIPS ON TRANSITIONING.
WHEN YOU HAVE DECIDED TO NO LONGER GET RELAXERS, YOUR MAIN FOCUS IS TO NOT USE A LOT OF HEAT, SUCH AS FLAT IRONS, CURLING IRONS, AND BLOW DRYERS AND TO JUST KEEP HAIR MOISTURIZED.

PROTECTIVE STYLES:
·         DOOBIE WRAPS
·         ROLLER SETS
·         BANTU KNOTS
·         BRAIDS
·         MICRO BRAIDS ( HANDLED WITH CARE)
·         SEW IN WEAVES ( HANDLED WITH CARE)
·         TWO STRAND TWISTS
IMPORTANT:
·         ALSO ALWAYS KEEP YOUR HAIR MOISTURIZED AND YOUR ENDS.
·         DO REGULAR TRIMMING ON YOUR ENDS TO PREVENT DAMAGE.
·         AVOID USING HEAT.
·         DO REGALUR SHAMPOOING AND CONDITIONING AND A DEEP CONDITION TREATMENT ONCE A WEEK.
  • ALSO DO HOT OIL TREATMENTS  BEFORE SHAMPOOING.
IF YOU ARE TRANSITIONING PLEASE SHARE YOUR STORY IN OUR BE FEATURED SECTION!
I HOPE MY TIPS ON TRANSITIONING WAS VERY INFORMATIVE AND HELPFUL.
